In one week this home in north Litchfield is framed and the shingles are getting put on....isn't that GREAT!!!! Even with the weather conditions this past week, we were still able to get it all framed and the roof on......Great work!!!
This is the first day of framing. The crew arrived around 11:00. This is what was accomplished the first afternoon. All exterior walls were erected and most of the interior walls.

This home in Hillsboro, Illinois is complete. This was a custom home design that featured an tremendous amount of detail work. All of the trim is Poplar with a Dark Mahogany finish supplied by Wills Milling of Carlinville, Illinois. All of the floor furnishings are supplied by Russel Furniture in Staunton, Illinois and installed by Fox Flooring in Staunton, Illinois. Concrete work was all done by Michel Concrete Company and Runkel Concrete both of Springfield, Illinois. Drywall and finishing done by Patterson Drywall from New Berlin, Illinois.
This is our latest Wick Building project. It is a 24' x 36' x 9' Wick Building. The building is constructed on a concrete floating slap with a poured 6" x 6" rat wall. This project features 3 10' x 8' garage doors, supplied and installed by Mid West Garage Door Co. from Pawnee, Il. Gary and Travis just finished all of the electrical in the building last week.
Well, it's the beginning of February and the Exterior of the home is close to complete. It took a little bit of patients and a lot of sunshine to melt the snow and sleet off of the felt paper so the Gary and Travis could get the steel panels on the roof. The steel panels were delivered straight from Wick Buildings, LLC. Also the soffit and siding crew siding crew made their trip down last week to install the LP Smartside siding. The weather was perfect for working, but the mud that came along with it was great. Also, Paterson Drywall of New Berlin, Il came to get started.
This single story home in Litchfield, Illinois is a two bedroom home with a large Country Kitchen that is open to the living room. The home also features a partially finished basement that is very open and has a half bath. The bathroom upstairs is very centrally located in the home and is easy access to the laundry room. The exterior of the home will boast a 6' x 44' front porch and a 8' x 44' rear porch. Both porches are covered and the rear porch will have a 8' x 30' Patriot Sunroom.
